About Us

The Carolina Loggers Association (CLA) is dedicated to supporting the people and businesses that keep North Carolina’s wood
products industry moving. Our strength comes from collaboration. We bring together logging companies, employees, suppliers,
regional associations, and industry partners to build a safer, stronger, and more connected future for everyone involved in
forestry.

CLA works year round to provide education, safety training, and support for best practices in the field. We also maintain an
active presence in Raleigh and beyond, helping lawmakers understand the real issues affecting our members. From transportation
and taxation to workforce development and forest stewardship, we focus on practical legislative solutions that protect both our
industry and the families who depend on it.

Our work is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors with more than 200 years of combined experience in logging and wood
products. Their knowledge, leadership, and firsthand understanding of daily challenges give CLA a clear and trusted voice.
They ensure that your concerns are heard and that the association continues to represent what matters most to our members.
