Due to circumstances beyond our control, namely an 11th hour decision by the landowner not to have his timber harvested in a very depressed market, Timber Expo Southeast has been delayed until the sponsor can secure another suitable site.

Although Hatton-Brown Publishers identified an optional site in early January, it has been unable to secure formal approval from the out-of-state owner. These negotiations continue.

Our plan is to reschedule the show for October or November of this year. We will attempt to keep the show in the Baxley area but could settle on a location elsewhere in south Georgia. The fall date could actually work out for the better for all parties concerned in that, hopefully, the economy will have bottomed out and started to improve.
